General Description:
The Pre-Driving Training Unit has been designed and engineered to provide the student driver with a complete and broad knowledge of the fundamental principles and required skills to drive a modern vehicle.

The Pre-Driving Training Unit reproduces the fine detail of an actual driver's seat and the instrumentation of a modern car's surroundings. Real components have been used from late model vehicles with the same type of instruments and components that the student will find once he or she starts driving a real vehicle. This Unit is user friendly, consequently making the teaching and learning process simple, easy and immediate.

When the student has completed his or her training in our Pre-Driving training Unit, they will be ready to start driver training on a real vehicle out on the streets. Included with our Pre-Driving Training Unit is a DVD (digital video disc) which describes in detail all the mechanical functions of a modern gasoline fueled vehicle.

This Pre-Driving Training Unit is composed of two parts:

1) A main unit for student us and

2) A display console for teacher use.

Main Unit Components:

Our Pre-Driving Training Unit is formed by the following main components:

-It is built on a sturdy mobile frame, equipped with 4 efficient castor wheels for possible displacements and 6 non-slip stoppers. Once the Unit has been placed in the Training room, the 6 feet non-slip stoppers can be easily set to keep the Pre-Driving Training Unit fixed in one spot.

-Comfortable driver's seat with headrest, with 2 positions: forward and back, and back rest tilting.

-Exterior side rearview mirror.

-Modern and real dashboard of a car (not simulated) containing: fuel gauge level, tachometer and speedometer KPM and or MPH, engine coolant temperature indicator, check panel, including the following pilot lights: headlights, town lights, indicator lights, rear fog lights, emergency blinker, brake fluid level, battery charge, engine oil pressure.

- Ignition key

-Steering-wheel and steering column (real, modern and in perfectly working conditions).

-Lights control switch: positioned on the steering column under the steering wheel, like in a normal car.

-The following lights are all in their original working condition: town lights, dipped or low beam headlights, standard headlights, brake lights, directional lights, reverse light, rear fog light, emergency blinkers, license plate illumination lamp and an additional 3rd brake light.

-Windshield wiper blade: the motion of the windshield wiper is simulated by an intermittent light.

-Clutch pedal, foot-brake, accelerator pedal: hall coded for easy identification.

-Hand brake lever: original in working condition.

-Original and working gear lever: 5-forward + reverse.

Display Console:

The Pre-Driving Training Unit is equipped with a Movable Display Console linked to the Pre-Driving Training Unit with an electric cable. This movable display console is operated by the teacher in order to simulate and to make the students recognize and troubleshoot the following:

-various troubles, during vehicle engine operation.

-To prime and to measure the student driver braking reaction time, when prompted to do so by an acoustical and visual sign.

DVD Content:

The DVD will complete our Pre-Driving Training Course. This DVD features a 25-minute lesson in both Italian and English, in color, with musical soundtrack and in a universal format. The areas covered are as follows:

-4 stroke gasoline engine
-Transmission
-Fuel System
-Braking System
-Steering and Suspension System
-Electric System
-Cooling System

Specifications & Standards:

This modern Pre-Driving Training Unit does not require any special operations of installation and start up, performed by specialized engineers. This Unit is shipped ready to work. The electrical and mechanical systems of this Pre-Driving Training Unit fully comply with the CE safety standards (EUROPEAN UNION STANDARDS).
