The Electric Winch is designed for experiments in energy conversion. A motor and precision gear box are mounted on a wooden stand. The weights can be raised by running a string attached to the weight over the pulley and then activating the motor by turning the handle of the
GENECON.
Solar cells may be used in place of the GENECON to perform the same experiments on energy conversion.
