What are the advantages of using the motor driven Hybrid System Model as oppose to the Hybrid System Model without the motor?

The main difference is that with the motor driven model the instructor can explain the hybrid engine details while the unit is in motion. The manual version requires a hands-on approach in adjusting and explaining each step.
