Chemistry of Protein Kit

In this module, students use models to show dehydration synthesis and hydrolysis. They will also:
Construct a 3-D model of an amino acid, the basic structural unit of all proteins.
Construct four representative amino acids.
As a cumulative activity, students combine the amino acid models to construct a protein.
