Using this adapter the Demoslide is held at exactly the correct level for microscopic examination Even if you don't have a mechanical X-Y stage on your scope, the slide holder makes it much easier to push your DemoSlide tube around on the stage surface . The adapter is shaped like a regular 3x1 inch microscope slide so it fits on the mechanical stage.
