Nakamura MICROVIX III - SRF

The Microvix III - SRF microscope is designed to assist teachers and students in any subject in a classroom setting. This complete unit is used as a video camera to project microscopic film negatives and slides to a TV screen. For best results, it is recommended to use the Microvix with a TV monitor that has the S-video option. The effective magnification is 150x when using the 4x objective lens and 380x when using the 10x objective lens. This simple, yet practical, device is a combination microscope, color video camera, microscope adapter, and lighting equipment rolled-up into one single unit. Just connect this Microvix to your classroom TV screen or a monitor to instantly obtain the equivalent of 180x projected on the screen.
