Van De Graaff Raijin
*SPECIAL ORDER*
The "RAIJIN" Van De Graaff is an electrostatic generator designed to conduct experiments using static electricity. As the friction between the belt and rollers ionize the air molecules, the accumulation of the air ions in the collecting sphere permits the observation of static electricity.
Who is Raijin?
Raijin is the God of Thunder & Lightning in Japanese Mythology. Regardless of weather conditions, the "RAIJIN" Van De Graaff will generate visible lines of electricity discharge. Maintenance of the generator is simple and uses minimal storage space.
