Students can work individually or in small groups performing a complete engine disassembly, inspection, measurement, and reassembly. The engine is mounted on a sturdy engine stand with a locking gear reduction rotating system.

ASE Task: A1.A.6 - Verify engine mechanical timing.

ASE Task: A1.B.1 - Identify cylinder head and valve train components and configurations.

ASE Task: A1.B.2 - Remove; inspect gasket; install cylinder head.

ASE Task: A1.B.3 - Clean and visually inspect a cylinder head/gasket.

ASE Task: A1.C.1 - Identify engine block components and configurations.
